Prior to launching The Exploration Group in 2008, Dwight was Senior Vice President for Geneva Global, one of the world’s leading cause-based investment performance advisors. During the 1990s he served as the North American Director and International Secretariat of the World Evangelical Alliance, the world’s largest NGO network.
Dwight holds a Master of Arts in broadcasting and philanthropy from Wheaton College Graduate School. His undergraduate degree in communication studies was earned at Indiana Wesleyan University. He holds certificates in Executive Development and Management Technique from the Johnson School at Cornell University and from the Owens School at Vanderbilt University, respectively.
Dwight is on the scholarship committee of the Billy Graham Center in Wheaton, IL; Board Chair emeritus of ChinaSource in Fullerton, CA and Hong Kong; Sustainable Employment Marketing Committee member, Dow Chemical Michigan Regional Planning Commission, Saginaw MI; Board Chair of the Simpson Park Camp Meeting Grounds Association and member of the Annual Camp Meeting Committee of the Simpson Park Camp Meeting Grounds, Romeo, MI.
He is a member of the Fast Tracks Running Club and begins most mornings with a 6:00 am run along the Delaware River or in Valley Forge Park where George Washington and his troops spent the winter of 1777-1778. In 2011 Dwight completed both the Oklahoma City and Philadelphia Marathons and since has done a number of half marathons. During 2014 for the fourth time, Dwight crewed a fellow runner in the Badwater Ultramarathon across Death Valley California, considered the toughest footrace in the world.
He lives outside Philadelphia, PA in a Bank that was built in 1907, but likes to call Michigan home. He travels extensively, dividing his time between Philadelphia, Michigan and in recent years, Asia. Dwight is married, with three young-adult children.
